i use DVD Shrink and Nero. when do back up i get a error that says
dvd shrink cannot continue programming error - exception occured then crashs. Only happends to this movie

Try ripping with DVDFab decrypter (free), it's very good with DVDs that tend to give shrink a hard time.

You can get the latest version here;
http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm

If you're able to successfully rip the video files to your hard drive, open them using shrink and proceed as you normally would with the backup process.
