GameShark ELF + backup games

hay, could someone help me with this problem:
I have the GameShark ELF file on USB stick, Swap Magic 3.6 cd and dvd, CD/DVD loader and the ”LaunchELF program on cd.
I'm able to load gameshark and to select the codes
but i'm not able to play my backup game
I've tried different methods such as:

swap magic 3.6 cd -> ”launchELF -> GameShark.ELF -> select code and start game -> ps2 tray opens -> swap magic 3.6 dvd -> backup game = black screen

or

swap magic 3.6 cd -> ”launchELF -> GameShark.ELF -> select code and start game -> ps2 tray opens -> swap magic 3.6 cd -> cd loader = black screen

does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Then use a burnt version of Gameshark, instead of the elf.

ok, do you know where to find a gameshark image?
I found one but when i try to use it with swap magic I get the "not a valid ps2 disc" message
