Only try the code once and once only!!!
Please remember you only get 3-5 attempts before your mobile becomes hardlocked.
If you have already tried different codes before Please let me know this way we do not hardlock your phone
Please make sure the information you give is correct before typing in the code.

Verify the code prior to entering the final #

Remove SIM CARD !
Type: #pw+342016164043370+7#
Then press the * key 3 times (to get a "p")
Then press the * key 4 times (to get a "w")
Then press the * key 2 times (to get a "+")
Then enter: 342016164043370
Then press the * key 2 times (to get a "+")
Then enter: 7
Enter: #

Please verify if code works

If the mobile gives no response/no message try the following:
TRY: Insert a non accepted sim, press the undo button,
a box should appear saying enter restriction code, enter the code given and press ok

If you mobile is hardlocked the only way to unlock it is by taking/sending it to a professional unlocker.

I have not tried to unlock it before.

Is this code specifically for this IMEI number?
Should there be another provider's SIM card and enter the code when it asks for a code?
DO I have to type #pw+342016164043370+7# twice?

yes this code is for that imei code and that provider.
no you do not have to type it in twice, after the first time it should unlock.

the reason i have it what may look like twice is to give direction into what to press and when.

once you unlock your phone any other providers sim will work.
you do not need another sim card to make it work.

i unlock my phone right away even though i am keeping my same sim.
