i just bought an xbox 360 with 2 wireless controllers..
i can't get one of the controllers to work as after i put the battery pack in the controllers, 1 works after about 5 seconds, but on the other 1 the green ring flashes & doesnt stop..
also, iv'e seen that you can flash your firmware so that it can
play backups of your 360 games & was wondering what versions
of the firmware would i need?
i have downloaded Maximus/Garyopa XTREME HITACHI v2.2 Stealth
8 in 1 for hitachi/Lg drives but am unsure if this is the
actual firware as there are quite a few..
i also downloaded XTREME firmware 4.2a & 4.2b for
toshiba/samaung drives..
this is the site i downloaded the firmware from:-
http://www.xbox360-hacks.com/downloads.php can anyone give me any advice on how to fix my controller
(if it can be fixed) & how to flash my firmware for the drive
in my new xbox 360 & update it to be able to play games
backed up to DVD-R or dvd-dl?
another thing, when i turned on the xbox,
the hdd only showed up as 13gb...
why is this?
also what do i need to be able to play my xbox online against
other people?
i bought the premium pack with 2 wireless controllers, 20gb hdd, headset, etc & pro evolution soccer 6 & project gotham 3...
any help or advice would be appreciated, thanks
**EDIT** i forgot to mention i haven't opened up my xbox 360 yet as i'm afraid it'll void my warranty, but if it allows me to backup my 360 games & play them, then ill do it.. :P
about your controller, have you pressed the small button on the top of it where the triggers are? then you should press the small round button on the console. this makes the xbox 360 find the controller. hope that helped.
ok thanks guys, the solutions you gave me fixed it & i can
now play 2 player pro evo 6.... B)
about the firmware, how do i open the xbox 360 to see what kind of drive it has?
i want to flash my xbox's drive so i can play backups of my games.
at £50 a pop, its best using backups of these disks,
since they are so expensive...
any help on helping me open/flash my 360 is appreciated/welcome..
thanks guys
