Ok so I tried everything to backup the game, it is impossible to do. I tried the sonix way with all the tools, tried WINHIIP, and copying it directly. Either way this game is not bound to work from my HDD. I am using HDLoader from console source.
Here is what I wanna do: make a backup of the game and copy the backup to my HDD so I can play it from my HDD. The way I am copying it to the HDD is through my pc using HDL_Dump. When I load the game it freezes at the beginning where it says "Sony Computer Entertainment..." any suggestions?

It may not be capatile withHDD, but i could be wrong.

i dont know which version of hdloader i have, its the one from console source...i got the hdloader elf file but have no clue what to do with it. furthermore my ps2 is not modded so even if i get the patched hdloader i dont think i can use it. any suggestions?
