I need some help here.I installed the nme 360 v.1.1 chip into the hitachi 47dj drive but not sure what to do now. I see some info here relating to the samsung drive but not the hitachi drive. I need to start playing games. If anyone knows where to go from here, i'd really appreciate the help. Thanks.

That samsung 162 is a drive you buy for your pc, not the 360. When flashed with the right firmware it can rip 360 originals.

If you're using the nme you either need that or you need to dl backups of your originals and then run them through nme's associator program.

Neither the 360 sam. or hit. can be used to rip originals because the nme's firmware won't handle that.

Quote:
CONVERTING AN XTREME IMAGE TO MAKE IT WORK WITH THE NME-360 MODCHIP

To convert an Xtreme game image to an image for use with NME-360 modchip follow these easy steps:

Start NME aSSociat0r
Select the Xtreme ISO File
activate "Extract Security Sector from Xtreme ISO file"
This will extract the Security Sector from the Xtreme Image and merge it to the correct offset for
use with the NME-360 modchip.
The final GAME.ISO size must be 7.705.657.344 bytes (in KB it is 7.525.056).

Burn the ISO as described above.

The Samsung chip only works with discs burned as DVD+R DL.
The Hitachi chip works with booktypes DVD-ROM and DVD+R DL.
