i have a v.12 ps2 scph-70012 with swap magic coder disks v.3.8.the ps2 also has all the magic switches installed properly.i made a backup of my gta3 dvd-rom and went to swapmagicfix.com and found out i need cdloader to play the backup,so i have downloaded it, i also downloaded the smboot.zip file.i have went to other forums and cannot get a strait answer on what files i need to burn to use the cdloader, or if i need to use the smboot.zip files.any help would be greatly appreciated.i am a noob to ps2 & swap magic so please explain in detail if possible..my cd that i would burn the files of cdloader or smboot is phillips cd-r,my gta3 game backup is on sony DVD+R

You shouldn't need cd loader. Boot swap magic, then instead of hitting X to boot the game, hit Square.
