ok i did try a Music video to dvd. which was mpg format i believe i followed nero guide and got to the screen where you have to insert a blank DVD ... i inserted a blank cd i brought which has on it DVD-RW --- now it doesnt seem to detect this so i just inserted a dvd i had which has DVD-RAM or was it ROM . on the disc which it detects but this cd seems to have summit on it . ne advice ? plz reply soon

You'd need to convert mpeg to VOB and then burn to DVD-R (RW) using TMPGEnc DVD Author or Sonic Foundry DVD Architect

What DVD burner have you got -> -RW / +RW / Ram ?
