Gran turismo 4 hdloader question

The version of HD loader i have has an option to enable DVD9 support. does this mean i can put gran turismo 4 straight onto my hard drive and it will work fine!! and if i use wiinhip to install GT4 is there anything i need to do first. as at the moment wiinhip sees GT4 original DVD disc as around a 3gig disc rather than a DVD9 sized disc, anyone help me out here????

I am not sure about the hard drive cause I use a USB drive and I just copied mine straight to the drive with winextreme and it works perfectly.

I would just try it.
