Ok..I modded the hell out of my ps2, so I'm technically not a newb. But, I just got my 360 and was wondering how to find out which version I have. I'm gonna get the X3 and I need to know how to find the version I have. My 360 was produced only 3 months ago, so I'm guessing it's probably v1.6. But, can someone help me out?

It's a version 1.0

All 360's are 1.0 right now (as far as I know)

You can tell what drive you have by looking at the tray. If you have 2 rectangle holes near the tray then it's a Hitachi. As for which version of the Hitachi drive, you need to break the 360 open.

So, when I order my X3, it should be for v1.0? I have the Samsung drive. No holes in it.
