With 17 days and counting untill the ps3 is released in the US
How and when will the ps3s get to the stores?
arent they still just starting perduction or did they start awhile ago?
i just dont know how they could get all the ps3s to the stores in 17days

damn that is sweet lol it wont matter how much it cost to buy one after people see that sweet set up the demand is gone go higher, Sonys puttin some thought and alot of money in those Kiosk. Have you seen any Kiosk in any stores yet Hade ?

Just a suggestion, you should change the title to the thread to "Countdown to the lauch day #". Anyways I'm freak'in stoked I will have insomnia before I get this baby, I just can't sleep being so stoked and thinking the posibilities of the ps3 damn I can't wait.

From what I know you can buy ps3 games now but will be available when they are recieved from ebgames or preordered

I think there's 8 or 9 days (depending on your timezone) left for the US, anyways I know what you mean the days go by so slow for me as well. I know as japan gets theirs we well know the potential it has and screen shots, just chaos with the news of how its doing and if ppl have any problems with them, I'm so excited though.

Did you hear that the PS3 is now launching in Japan with 5 games? That's right five, count them on one hand. Honestly, I'm getting a really bad feeling about Sony's next console. I think people are becoming more and more interested in the Wii, and Sony have made massive mistakes in the past few months. (The European slip up and the Lik-Sang dibacle to name two...)

can you provide a link for your assumtions, maybe you should read the gameline up thread, that will give you more info on what you need, also do you live in japan, if you don't then why do you bother what they have a launch you should worry about the US launch titles than being worried about everyone else. this is just an excuse of saying that you would rather go for Wii because 1 you don't have the money or 2. you think you will not have a chance o get one a launch, by camping out or whatever.

Sorry, I had to read through your message a few times to make sense of it but I think I've got it. My info on Japan getting five titles at launch came from IGN. Now I'm not knocking their channels but I'd say they have enough experience to write what they want and have the clout to back it up.
Do I live in Japan? No. Does that mean I live in the USA? I hope not! This has nothing to do with any country. This is Sony slipping up AGAIN and not having the balls to come out and say "whoops we messed up, sorry".
And then you go on to say that the Wii will be inferior to the PS3 because it costs less? Are you serious? See what I mean about having to read your message a few times...
I'd just like to say for all those that will be camping out waiting to get a PS3, I hope it's worth it. I AM looking forward to getting a PS3, whenever that will be, depite what some people may write if you even dare mention the name of Nintendo's next gen. Even if it's just for Zelda you've got to be tempted. Do you have Zelda in Japan, Noamos?

Wow... Seven more days of pure boredom. I sit through school trying to go through a mental checklist of what I'm getting, when I am arriving at Best Buy, etc. In my Java programming class, I sit there and look up the latest news and info to make sure I don't miss a thing. I cannot wait much longer.

^^ Just seeing the box in pictures makes me so anxious. Even as much as a screenshot of a game makes me very anxious. I have approximately t-166 hours for me. I can't wait any longer (tempted to do sentence in all caps)!

EDIT: I meant 166 hours until I was actually in line. In reality I still have approximately 175 hours left.

600 just for the system + Talladega Nights + controller + AV Cables + power cable + anything else? Then you are going to get a game or two (60-120), a headset for an online game (my guess = 20-30 bucks), another controller (50 bucks), a warrenty (100 bucks for 3 years at best buy i believe), the micro poitns for the online downloadable games (probably in the neighborhood of 25 bucks), anything else you might need. So for the whole enjoyment package, you's need around 855 beans at least and at most 925 for everything I listed out.
My list is as follows:
60 Gb Console
Resistance: FOM
Another controller
Warranty
Micro Points
Headset
So I am in the neighborhood of 850 bucks.

Maybe you didn't understand what I meant to say. First of all what I meant to say is that if you didn't live in japan who cares really unless you live in japan which you stated that you don't, personally I don't care because I live in the US and that is why sony will try its best not to mess things up here because we are the biggest market, not saying they will or wont but aleast of now it hasn't happen that I know of. I know your not trying to bash on sony or anyother console as well as for me I will own all three because of variety. What I got the feeling from your message is that seemed that you were finding any excuse not to buy ps3 which you have also stated that you will own one and that's not the case, which is the same for me I will have a Wii, well aleast my kids will but I will enjoy it as well. The point I'm trying to get across is that if it dosent effect you why even bother, you know what I mean, hope there is no hard feeling and didn't want to start anything but hope you know where I'm coming from.
Oh yeah Zelda a must have and the reason I want the Wii probably the only game I will play, but know that my kids will enjoy the rest of the games.

Yo man it about time you updated LOL, just one more week and good to go man. Hopefully everyone here will post there gamers tags and we'll be all good. This weekend for me will go fast watching football, and going to a wedding so by monday I will be so anxious to just play. My 5 yr old is so excited as well he has even counted the days till launch and still marks our calender just to make sure. Can't wait. Good looking out on updateing thread.

Yea, so I have a class from 8 to 9 am on thursday, after that I'm going straight to the store and start camping. Not sure yet what store, I think Best Buy will have a huge line by that time. I'm guessing Target or Wal-Mart or Circuit City.

i was accually thinging of printing out some of the online ps3 manual and reading it but i dont know
i guess ill just have to tear up my finger nails jk
