i'm trying to backup my disc i get a error at 68% stating that
if reading the media has failed please clean surface and try again.

I cleaned the disc and still has failed using AnyDVD and clone2

any idea what the problem could be

what disk are you trying to back up..... make sure your AnyDVD is the current version, if not download and install current version (6.0.8.2)

or maybe you have a bad press of the DVD and need to get a new replacement DVD from the store!
