Recently installed 2 burners on my computer. When I try save data to a disc, it says access denied, or no disc, even though there will be a disc. Also, when I look at my system, one shows as a cd, and one shows as a DVD-RW. Is this how it is supposed to be? Am I supposed to make some kind of special setting for the computer to recognize both burners?? PLEEZE HELP!!!

Did you install new replacement drives or are the drives the first to go into the computer? If they replaced other drives, check the jumpers in the back of the original drive to see if they are set at Master or Slave or CS (Cable Select). Your IDE cable will have two connectors for the drives: the middle connector goes to the drive you select as SLAVE and the end connector goes to the MASTER. The jumpers on the back of the drives have to match with those settings. If, however, your computer determines which is which with a cable select method, it does not matter which connector goes to which drive; but the jumpers must be on the CS pins for this to work. If your computer manual does not mention whether the computer is CS or Master/Slave, try both different settings to see which resolves the problem.
