I am burning 24 season 2 for a friend, using dvd decrytper, DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter to burn. The first season burned fine, but the copied disc for the 2nd season automatically plays subtitles and I have to turn them off on the dvd player. I unchecked all subpicture except english. Anyone know why the subtitles are automatic?
i don't have the exact answer as to how you stop them playing by default (it's something you do in DVD Shrink), no doubt someone will have the correct answer; i've got used to this long ago, most players i have access to do this, but the odd player doesn't, i've just got used to where the subtitle button is on the various remotes :)

I have the same problem. Subtitles showup all the time. I don't think it's shrink that does it though. I use AnyDVD and recode and I get subtitles automatically also.
