O.K. folks, I'm sure we can do this without being political. Regardless of what one thinks of the Iraq war, there are lots of guys there doing stuff nastier than you could ever imagine who, rest assured, would rather be having a beer and playing on AD...who would rather be doing anything but what they're doing. This is a subject close to my own heart because of a past unpopular war thirty five years ago when guys like me were spit on and called names merely for doing what our country threw us into; I can't begin to describe the scars that left even after this many years. I don't ever want to see vets go through something like that again and I know there are others like me on AD who have been through the same. Even if you don't approve of the war, it's important for these guys to know you wish them the best. Here is one link where Xerox will send cards and messages and, I'm sure there are others.

Being an animal lover I stumbled into this thread thinking you were talking about veterinarians...LOL

Both of my grandfathers were vets. Veterans, that is.

yeah you may want to alter that title mate, as I was thinking the same thing as loco.. ;)

but of course, we never show enough appreciation towards Our Boys out there laying their lives down for our freedom.

words can't describe how grateful we are..

Yeah the foot soldiers dont make the decision to invade.....they are all courageous men. They do a job which I would guess at least 90% of people in that age bracket would ever dream of doing
