I have 2 PC's, both have athlons, 512ddr, and ata133 HDs. PC "A" ripps at 5X to 7X and the other (PC "B") ripps at .5X to 3X. When I switch the DVD drives PC "A" still Ripps at 5X-7X and PC "B" still Ripps at .5X-3X. So it isn't the dvd drive that is causing PC "B" to rip so slow. What could it be?

could be alot of things?

cache settings in software? virtual ram (windows) hd full? your ata cables 100 or 133?

bios settings on ram timmings etc?
