I just noticed on the game's main site that this game (also called Frankie Dettori Racing in Europe) will feature the same 'copy' protection as Rugby League 2.
The two games (RL2 an MCC) are made by the same company, and I remember RL2 would disable the main menus if a modchip was detected.
I'm pretty sure no-one ever came out with a successful patch for RL2, and was wondering if anyone had heard about this for MCC?

No Im not sure, but i cant get past the loading screen so it does look like its the same as rugby league 2 :(

OK....I tried this on my PS2 with a modchip....it kinda paused at the black background and white text, so I ejected it, put it back in, and it got up to the main title screen...
From then on I couldn't do anything...Nothing I pressed on the controller would work...

So then I tried it on my mate's unmodded PS2, using the cogswap method...
There it didn't even get past the black background and white text screen....and I couldn't just eject it like before because it wouldn't work....

Is there anyway we can request for those coders and hackers to get stuck into cracking this game and also, Rugby League 2 for that fact...????

I don't mean to be full on here, but i won't hold my breath for a patch to come out for this one aswell... As it won't happen...

The guys who do it don't give a rats backside for this sort of stuff since the Ps3 is coming out... And who really cares, coz they are just OZ games, not some fancy euro game like FIFA etc...

Yeah I know, that's what I thought...
But because this game is gonna be a bit bigger than Rugby League 2 then we can always hope for the best...
Us Aussies don't get PS3 til March next year, someone's gotta look out for us!!!
