i have need for speed carbon and it wants me to update is it ok i was wondering will it not want me to take the big update and should i restore my firmware first for the big update or will i get to choose just the need for speed one and can i reflash after the update just some questions hope someone can anwser

is need for speed carbon letting u play it on your modded xbox360. For somereason tiger woods 07 wasnt letting me play the original copy on my 360, but i played the back up. Can u please get back to me because i want to know if superman returns will work for me.

The new firmware allows booting of Tiger Woods 07 (original, not backed up) This happened due to EA accessing a hidden security sector that "we" didn't know about. It has since been fixed.

Can someone please explain this? I'm still running v1.0 on my toshiba/samsung and have yet to try tiger and need for speed. Do they automatically force you to update or will I be ok? Thanks

@ sam... the update which is on the game needs to be ran if you want to play that game. It is ok to update with a modded console. Although, you may want to update your firmware to atleast xtreme3.3 as there have been alot of improvements.

Fear is working fine and has no update on disc.i updated Need for Speed Carbon and its done no harm and my xbox360 has a hitachi drive.

after i updated it said unplayable disc and before it said that all i needed was a update so how do i get to the update again i guess the only update that i got was the 1080p can someone help

ok guys or girls i was playing need for speed and i had evaded the cops on that first little bit i don't understand why it booted but anyway after that it just said dirty or damaged disc i checked it looked fine this is what spliter cell did now after that update it seems to work fine any ideas why it does this
