I'm sorry to post a new thread on this, but as I'm a new user I couldn't reply to the problems thread. Long story short, I have an X-box that's been eating discs and the horrible time I'm having with tech support. I'd post the whole thing here, but it's pretty damn long as I devoted a whole page to the issue, check it out if you're interested.

Ouch, I'd probably drive to Redmond Washington and beat the hell out of someone if that happened to me. Sorry to hear that bro, but I've had 0 problems out of my 360. What kind of drive was in that 360? Was it a samsung or hitachi?
