I know its the wrong palce for this, but i need a bit of help:
Im having a slight problem with Frontpage and was wondering if anyone could help me? My website http://www.chrismccann.co.uk doesnt refresh the pages everytime you load it up unless i physically refresh it on the web browsers. This means that people who have viewed it before will not see any updates i have made to it.
Does anyone know how to set it to refresh automatically through Frontpage.
Any help is much appreciated!
Chris

i havent worked much with frontpage but mainly with dreamweaver
im sure you thought of that or already ruled it out

Dreamweaver is good, but nothing beats doing it all yourself, nothing is more satisfying!

There is a Java Script that you can enter into the HTML code of the page, which you want to be refreshed automatically, or a code that tells computers not to hold the pages in your systems cache.
Have a look through the scripts on sites that give out free java scripts.
The scripts will be easy to enter in FrontPage in the HTML option once they have been found.
Try http://www.java-scripts.net/

Just copy and paste the Java Script into the html code, the scripts will be written for you to simply copy and enter into your page where required.
If these scripts are not available on already mentioned site, search for "Java Scripts" in Google etc. and you should hopefully find it?

oriphus please dont say you are building a site and you dont know much about html?? lol
I know html like the back of my hand by now. I'm handy with javascript, css & dhtml aswell. I havent been doing much web design lately but I do have one to do for a business called fuss'd up in the town. Should be interesting since they sell anything you could call strange weird or cool, like lava lamps!

Sounds like a strange website you're doing lol.
I know HTML very well, i was just saying i havent really got a clue bout java script. So i just put the java Script code in a HTML method and it worked fine. Started looking at DHTML, but im too old to learn new tricks. GOing to stick to my Business IT degree now and learn all about business. I finished my Computing Degree at UUJ in May and im going to queens now. The eternal student lol

Excellent peice of code....exactly what i was looking for. Many thanks Magpie.
Chemistry....I hated chemistry. History was good, I did Economics, Business and Computing at A-level. It was ok. Its a lot easier to get a job when you have Business or management qualifications as well as computing.
