HD Loader from memory card

I'm running the hd loader via the memory card files, and after accessing one game recently, i turned on my ps2, and did the usual trigger disk and memory card to load hd loader, but the screen stays blank on the initial load screen where it list the different files being accessed via a black screen, it stays stagnant, i've reformatted the memory cards and put the system configs on it, but it does it over and over again,

ANY IDEAS! PLEASE HELP!
