I have a Liteon Lvd 5005 dvd player that has just gone wrong.
I was wondering if its worth getting fixed, because im thinking of getting a dvd with a hard drive & possibly freeview.

What I would like to know from you guys. Is it a case of what you get is what you pay for & are there better products at a resonable price.
I have seen some around £100

or is it a case of waiting a while till things settle down.

It all depends on the porn industry. Betamax failed because the porn kings favoured VHS. Will Ron Jeremy favour DVDD?HD-DVD? Blu-ray?

@maniauk:
In your original post title - HD & DVD - do you mean HD as in "hard drive & DVD" or do you mean HD-DVD as in "High Definition DVD?"
