I have A v12 pstwo if I were to get swapmagic 3.6 with a flip top mod will I have to buy the laser diode fix Since I heard if u want to put a mod chip on it youll need the laser fix. Is it the same case for swap magic.

I have not got laser diode fix. But will my laser break after time? im not using flip top, i opened it up n taped the switches down.
