Modding the PS3?!?

So PS3 is about to be released, anyone think modding for ps3 comin in jus like the ps2? but then again i think this time sony have out done itself with the blu ray, n from i saw blu ray burner n stuff are over 1g each, any ideas for the mod for ps3?

I'm thinking something will come up where you install a bigger hard drive and store the games on the hard drive. So instead of backups you would read the game with your computer and then send it to the PS3 hard drive by usb cable. Then when you want to play a game you just go to the hard drive and select the game you wnat to play. But there will have to be a program on the hard drive so that you can select the game you want and boot it up. I guess it would be like a boot disk just software on the hard drive. I would think there would have to be a mod in the PS3 to play the games but I have read that a lot of people thank that it will be done with all software, calling it a softmod I think. This is what I have read and what I think but who knows what they will come up with to mod the PS3. I give them about 6 to 8 months if that long, and they'll be somthing out there.

what console do you think will be the best modding wise? im guessing PS3 since it will be the most powerful.

Do you think there will be any SNES and sega emulators to come out for it like there were for the PS2 and 360?

I'm thinking the same way PS3 will probably be the best console to mod it is just going to take time before anything comes out. As for emulators I have no clue I don't keep up with the emulators that much just don't have that much time.
