hello.. was hoping someone can help me out here. my computer has a dvd ram\r unit..does this mean its just an dvd ram?.. or is does it read\write ram and r? if so how do i know if its dvd-r, dvd+r, the unit is a matshita dvd ram lf d311..any help would be greatly appreciated..thanks..jason

Matsushita (Matshita) is essentially a Panasonic. Most newer Panasonic models can read and write RAM and -R. I cannot however, specualte on your drive since i am not familiar with it.
