new scarface backup problem need help

ok so i just got this new game scarface and i want to backup my game before i start to deteriate the disk so i go pop it in my computer and run Alcohol 120 and creat the immage then i burn the immage to a dvd + disk verbatim not the shity stuf so i pop swap disk 3.8 coder int my pst an go to boot disk normal like i always have so it act likes it is going to boot but then it goes to the screen that says please insert an pst format disk i am also haveing problems backing my games up to a DVD-R disk with alcohol i dont think it is capable of booktyping that kinda disk any one else having the problem with scarface or did u successfull back it up and how i know it is the same kinda of encryption as the others i think it might not be compatible wit 3.8 coder disks

Its not a new problem, its the SAME problem everyone else with a Swap Magic version above 2.0 has had with this game. And you would of found the solution by reading some of the numerous other threads about this game - you'll need to use ZoneLoader as an additional swap to get it to boot.

And DVD-R cant be booktyped. They're already DVD-ROM. Its only DVD+R that require booktyping.

ok got it but when i try to copy a game with alcohol on a dvd -r it just wont work on my ps2 any suggestions

youre fricken awsome it took a little bit but i finaly burnt the dvd got it to boot put in my scar face dvd i burnt earlyer that i was about to throw away nad it worket perfectly
