Is This Hardware Fine?

I just ordered my XBOX 360 flashed with Xtreme so that I can play backed up xbox 360 games etc. I know how to burn .DVD , .ISO xbox 360 files in CloneCD, but I know that making a backup of an orignal xbox 360 game sounds really hard.. So I wana check if this is everything I need:

Xbox 360 flashed with Xtreme
DVD+R Dual Layer discs
PC with Sony DVD RW DW-D18A burner
Samsung DVD Rom (externally for reading xbox discs)

Is this all I need?

Its just I got told that the Samsung DVD Rom might not read the Xbox 360 games.. but I wanna find out for sure.

So if anyone can give me there views, that would be great.
