need help booting game with sm 3.8 coder

i need to know how to boot a game with sm 3.8 coder i have tried the swap magic folder and puting the smboot0.elf smboot1.elf and excet do i have to convert my files to an elf file and witch file do i put on it i know that the image of the game wouldn't work would it i need some help some kinda of instruction

yea of coures u burn the disk pop in the sm disk boot it up pop in your dvd boot it up im having a problem tring to boot a game off of a external hard drive

Hi Guys, I just got my coder dvd disc, and I tried booting it, I get the boot screen, I swap my disc in with my slider card, and press X and it gives me the Red "Load ps2 Formatted disc. I am not using the eject button, and I have played with this disc when I still had my Swap Magic disc. I even tried loading a store bought game in and it gives me the screen. Is there something I don't know about coder that I need to be doing? I've tried several different games I burnt that worked with Swap Magic, but they don't work now. Help Please?
