I have a fat PS2 with flip top and swap magic. Can i instead of running the exploit from my memory card run it from a penn drive using the action replay if this can be done does all penn drives work and can u just add elf files to the penn drive instead of burning new cdrs all the time with the memory card????

The exploit takes advantage of a flaw in the way the PS2 boots PS games. The PS2 checks the memory card (emphasis here) for an elf file. It does not check the pen drive. But, if you do the exploit, have your boot.elf be any one of the many elf launchers available that support the usbmass. You can then boot most elfs straight from the pen drive. I do it all the time. I use keylauncher 0.5.3 as my boot.elf.

So if i run keylaunchers elf from my MC and the PSX game then i can run any elf file from a penn drive. Then i dont have to burn cds each time i want to add a new elf....
