Need some help on hooking up a TV and other components

Not sure if this is the right place or not, so tell me where I should be if this is wrong. Ok here?s what I'm looking to do, I need to be able to hook up a Home theater system, DVD/DVR, VHS, and Cable to a Magnavox LCD TV. I would like to be able to hook it all up to the Home theater system then just run an hdmi cable to the TV b/c the TV will be going on the wall and I don't want to run a lot of cables through the wall and with hdmi it would just be the one. I don't know if this at all possible or understandable. I would also like the Home theater system to be wireless capable at least 800watts and under $300 :). If that's not the right/best way please give me some suggestions.

You are asking WAY too much, for a $300 budget! There's no way, that I know of, you'll find an AVR with HDMI output, for $300. Wireless neither. The systems I've seen that were wireless, were wireless for rear speakers only. There may be one that's completely wireless, but I've not heard of it.
If you're looking a whole system, including speakers, for $300, you're looking at an HTIB (Home Theater In a Box). For an HTIB in that price range, you'll be lucky to get more than two digital inputs (digital coax & optical), and probably no digital outputs.
I think to get what you're wanting, you're going to have to spend a lot more money.

Well I found mostly what I was looking for everything except the wireless part (I was talking about rear Wireless). But I'm just going to run the two for the back into the basement and under the floor.
Now onto a new question: I can't get the TV to recignise the video of the DVD player. What I'm doing is plugging everthing into the reciver (VCR, DVD). I can get the Reciver to pick up the audio for both but not the video for the DVD. VCR works fine I think it's because I have a coax from the wall running to the VCR then from the VCR to the TV. I can't figure out why the HDMI doesn't pick up the Video and send it to the TV. Please Help

Congratulations! You somehow found a hell of a deal, if you got a receiver with HDMI inputs and outputs, for under $300!
I'm glad for you.........
You may have to go into the settings for the receiver and the tv, and let them know you're using the HDMI......
