im trying to backup my ff XII cd.....

i use dvd dcrypter to read and write the game..iv done it at 4x and 2x.. but when i try to play it..it just flickers and i get a blank black screen...im using ty DVD-R 8x...is there a patch i need and if so ..where can i get it and how do i install the patch..

Please don't double-post tis against the forum rules, use the edit button on your posts.

The game works just fine if you burn to good quality media at 1/2 the disc's max speed.
Any disc that you can see through when you hold it up to a light is not what I'd call good quality media - hence the reason I do NOT rate TY as good media. Can't see through a RITEK G05, and with over 2000, 100% successful, game burns, the proof of the quality is in the burning so to speak!

Hey ace,I burnt the game,it worked fine and everything,except during the movies it kinda hiccuped a bit..

But then it gets stuck after I kill the rogue tomato thing when I tried to go back into town...tried it a lot of times,it happens only after I kill thge rogue tomato..I can hear the bg music an..


Should I burn it again? I a used sony DVD-R and burned at 3.2x..
