Hi there this is my first post so pleas bear with me, all help is appreciated. I have an unmoded PS2 (spch-30001) my problem is that it can?t read DVD at all the only thing it works with is CD It play PS-1 games and Audio CD I didn?t try ps2 CD games, to replace the lens is very expensive, and cleaning it didn?t work. I wanted to use HD-loader, I was told that HD-loader is CD based so am hoping it will work with my PS2 but I thought of going the other route which is use the MC exploit, so my questions is:

1.is Codebreaker CD-based because I want to make the MC exploit using it.

2.is there a better (easier) way to make MC exploit I read all the other methods and decided on the one with codebreaker.

3.I don?t have Codebreaker or gameshark or Action Replay, so is it better to grab a copy of Hd-loader and cut the chase? Or stick to the plan.

The reason I want the MC exploit is to be able to use my GB160 HDD. And I can?t find a way to patch HD-loader without using the MC-exploit. Although this is the first time am doing this but I have read and searched for a long time, if you can help I would really appreciate it, I gusse the Big question is would this method work with my PS2 since it can only read CD-rom, have you tried it or do you know who did, this is my last bid with this PS2 cuz am sick and tired of it so pleas help.
