First of all let me apologize for this newbie question but what can I say I am a rookie. I am trying to backup my son's copy of cars. I decrypt the movie but when I go to shrink and go to reauthor and open up the target file.... it is empty. I've only backeup one of my dvd's using DVD Decrypter and shrink and I was successful so I really dont have much experience. Also, does anyone out their have a guide to burn with Nero 7 premium. Thanks.

@a206600

See that little button on the left on your keyboard that says "Caps Lock"? Push it , and make sure the light at the top right of your keyboard goes off.

Search, search and you'll have some tons of answers. CARS can be ripped with DVDFAB Decrypter, RipIt4Me or just good ole DVD Decrypter alone. Go here and read this thread http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/416063

Let's not forget that you have to download FixVTS http://download.videohelp.com/FixVTS/ and drag and drop a vts file to the window of FixVTS and click FULL DVD. Then run DVD Shrink.

Thanks folks, this forum is the best DVD back-up help forum online!

rookie29 you say in your post that you are trying to backup your son's copy of cars, you don't have to use shrink because it has already been done, you just want to make a backup of a backup right? and you say you have Nero right just copy the disk with Nero and you will have a great backup copy, verry easy, hope that helps good luck happy burning have a nice day

@rdmercer

I think it is an original copy he is trying to backup. Which would require shrinking.
