Hi, I tried to use super glue to try and keep the switches down, instead of buying something for it, but now my PS2 is not even playing a original Disc with it closed! I tried to glue the switch which is next to the power button, is this the problem?!

If I put even an original disc in and close the "lid" it does'nt spin up, just stays in the bios! I know, I was really stupid to glue it, I should of just use some rubber.
