Hi.

So far I've been backing-up my DVDs with ease, but today I bought Peep Show Series Two (British Comedy, you may not know of it) and when I tried to back it up, the RED bar in DVD Shrink was showing and I couldn't lower compression!

I selected custom compression and it still wouldn't budge!

I've tried everything but I simply cannot back it up!

When I select back-up a warning comes up saying it won't work!

Anyway, for the experts, here is the picture!

You could try shrinking it twice. How long is the movie?
You could also try the free version of DVD_Rebuilder. It will take a long time to process but the quality will most likely turn out better.

99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

I like that Alkohol always plugs VOBB. It should be commended more often. Regardless, blanking all the unnecessary crap you don't want will ALWAYS reduce the final compression rate in Shrink.

If that doesn't suffice, you can always use an encoder, like DVD-RB.

Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie
