some movies i have need vodei what is this and can i burn these movies

What's "vodei"? Never heard of such thing, unless you meant "video" or VIDEO_TS.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

Vodei is a Multimedia Processor. I would assume you would need the player to watch the video if encoded with Vodei encoder. Below is more information on it.

Yeah This sux i cant convert vodei files from what the site says i can watch the files but cant burn em thanx for your info appreciate it

(my english is not too good so: be patient)
The "avi" file that vodei creates have more or less the next internal structure:
* MRLE video (of five seconds) with a picture of the website.
* Then: the movie inself (normaly in XviD codec) but without a "Header" of the video. (so, because of that is only recognized with MRLE or Microsoft codec).
In others words:
- Vodei only plays a video that is "inside" of another video.
Is only time to find where keeps the address of the "video inself" and make and "extractor".
