Hi,
Roxio always crash with Nero. Uninstall roxio i suggested.
Nero 7 is very buggy. Try to install version 7511.
What kind of dvd media are you using? Memorex I presume?
If you are using Memorex, you are digging your grave.

uninstall all your burning programs run CCleaner do a disc clean-up defrag your HD then reboot and reinstall your programs.
i wouldn't run both roxio and Nero both they will conflit which will cause you problems keep one of them off your machine.
next you must use better blank media use either Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim and burn no faster than 8x
let us know how it works out

cheverado, something else thats important to do is make sure your firmware is up to date on your drive/burner ,check here
http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_all.php
that can cause a problem switching media if your drive doesn't support the DVD+R media, also if your going to use the DVD+R booktype them to DVD-ROM

I am having similar problems. In the past I have burned over 100 movies with nearly a zero "coaster creation" rate. Lately I am getting about half of my burns turning into coasters. A few details.
I am using DVD Descrypter to do the burning. I either use DVD Shrink to a combo of DVDFAB Decrypter and DVD Shrink to do the ripping. When I get a bad burn, reburning the ISO file is sufficent to get a good copy so I am pretty sure it is not a ripping problem.
I have tried using two types of media (TDK 8X +R and Kypermedia 16X +R), Both have similar success rates. I have tried reducing burn speed from 4X to 2X. I have tried cleaning the DVD lense using a cleaning CD. Now for the wierd part. Sometimes the resulting DVDs are complete coasters and sometimes the movie plays fine in the DVD burner but won't play in my other DVD drive on my computer or my home DVD player. Seems strange.
I tried burning an ISO with Sonic RecordNow and it threw an error (another coaster). Any suggestions> Should I scrap using DVD Decrypter and try using another burning program such as ImgBurn? Any other ideas on what I can do to fix this? blank DVDs are so cheap now it is not an issue of money but time for doing multiple burns that is most annoying. Also I am afraid it could get worse over time. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I would also be a little worried that now since you could burn and now you are making coasters your burnner could be bad if you now how to pull your burnner out and try it in a different PC or try a different burnner in your PC you could find out and be 100% sure they only cost 40 or 50 bucks and they are junk they die way to fast. Also use Verbatim disc only for movies . No I don't work for verbatim
