just woundering what all the talk is about with the hole DNAS online enabled games and patching. i have usbextreme and have socom 3 and combined assault witch with socom CA i play online so i use the disc but if i wanted to play the offline missions could i put it on my usb HDD without the DNAS patching.does the patch enable the game to play period or is it a way to try to hop online i dunno??? in other words do i have to patch socom CA to play the offline missions or woudl i have to patch the disc ISO?

you don't have to patch to play offline... although you cannot play any socom game NTSC online even if patched...

ya i know that... its just all this DNAS patching talk going around for making games compatible with usbextreme i just wanna back it up not do 3 bagillion steps to do so thx :)

DNAS patching is only to play games online and nothing more.. you prbably mean patching the games to work with usbextreme well thats a different subject.
