Wireless Networking + Firmware hack for XBOX Live

Hi,
Im going to get an Xbox 360 to replace my dead PS2. Now I have a wireless ethernet bridge which i used with the PS2 to connect it to my router. I was wondering if the 360 has an ethernet port so i can also connect the bridge to it or do i have to buy the Xbox Wireless Adaptor?

Second, i want to firmware hack the 360. Now of course in the future Microsoft will end up banning people on live with the hacked firmware. However i was wondering if it was hacked but i used an original disc would that work? Or can i restore the firmware back to the original if i start hearing about bannings on live?

yes it has an ethernet port. and what do you mean using an orignal disc, use an original disc to do what? and in the end if there is an update to ban people with modded firmware, you will need to revert it back to normal before you run the update. rmbr this is not like the original xbox, you have to take out the disc drive and put it into a pc, last time i heard.

yes you will be able to play original games while the firmware is in effect as well as play backups and I don't think M$ will be finding a way to stop modding anytime soon.

Sorry, i meant IF Microsoft ban people from Live for using hacked firmware, do you think it would be possible to use an Original disc with the hacked firmware and as long as you havnt been banned, you can continue to use Live. Obviously you cant give a firm answer right now but was just wondering.

So to confirm, i wont have to buy the Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter, i can just use my wireless ethernet bridge?

I have reading that IF M$ finds a way to know if someone is hacking they will likely ban your 360 from Live so even if you use and original disc you would not be able to play on Live.

And to confirm no will not need the Wireless Adapter, you can use your bridge. In fact, I myself use a bridge as I find wireless connections for gaming can sometimes be unreliable.
