I deliberately kept spamming Afterdawn with my own site - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_jump.cfm/608289/3674209 for example.

ok.... i cant upload a picture yet but i will soon... untill i can i will just tell you what it is....
COMPUTER: I have a HP pavilion (or however it is spelled) with 1GB of ram, a 250GB HDD and a light scribe CD Drive/Burner.

SOUND: the sound is running through a 24 bit dolby digital surround sound system (5 speakers and a subwoofer),

VIDEO: the video is running through a NVIDIA GeForce 6500 LE (256MB) and a SANYO 26 inch flat screen TV (widescreen)wich i am going to get a wallmount for.

NETWORKING: The networking is pretty simple. it has a LINKSYS Wireless-N adapter connecting to a NETGEAR wireless-N router. it also has a bluetooth adapter

INPUTS: the inputs are pretty normall (wireless mouse and keyboard) exept for the mouse, i have 2 mouses one is just a regular mouse (wireless of course) and the other one is a Wiimote connected to the bluetooth dongle running a few special programs.

SEATING: my seeting is really nice. i have a all leather chair (VERY NICE! :D) and a matching leather loveseat.

GAME CONTROLLERS: game controllers: Xbox 360 controller for pc and wii (mentioned above).

Loco,

I was watching The Barret-Jackson auctions from Las Vegas. Is this your train that they had just sold for $150,000?

http://www.barrett-jackson.com/applicati...n_LotNumber=777

Edit: Correct price.

Still, you got to admit, selling it with 1/2 mile of track...nice ride for someone.

Another Christmas, another tidyup, another excuse to photograph said tidyness.

My Main desk - TinyMe (Dual Core E6400) on left, Quad Core Q6600 on right

Hard drive enclosures, no shelf space for any more :(

Old pc's for Solaris and TinyMe, printer and old pc for xbox softmodding

Solaris 9 (Dell GX-150), Pocket PC (used as Satnav) and Acer Aspire NetBook (oh and my trusty HP laptop, it's been ousted by the Netbook!)

Main network for upstairs ('WDS' running under DD-WRT), and yet another xbox

Kids' desk

Main media area

I'm hoping this year it'll stay neat and tidy. That's part of the reason i post pics, to shame myself into keeping on top of the clutter :)

That's why I try NOT to post pics... heheehe. No shame to be had then... :P It's a good thing I don't live close to you.. I'd have to bring over the "spirits" and talk you out of some electronic paraphernalia. :)

13x 500GB and 2 smaller ones. They're mainly backup drives for the internal drives as i prefer manually copying stuff around instead of using RAID.

I just do bit for the environment by keeping as much stuff in as small a place as possible.
But to be serious, I'm not a tv watching person so prefer to have lots of stuff to watch and listen to without going to hunt around for dvd's

Most of mine are just backups of internal drives though, and the external ones only get switched on in short bursts, for making changes or playing the odd bit of media

Hello rihgt682.... I'm the GM. :) I have... well let's see...

2 - 750GB
2 - 250GB
3 - 320GB
1 - 300GB
1 - 160GB
and various little drives... 20's, 40's, and 1 80 I think. ;) How much is that?? Somewhere around 3.5TB... I acquired these slowly over time so there's not 40-50 500GB drives like creaky..... hehehee. :P
