I am using the latest edition of DVD Shrink with Nero 6 with a Sony desktop CD/DVD Burner Model No-DW30A10B. All of a sudden it has stopped ejecting the original disk after backing up to the hard drive and stops burning the files at 88 pc.
It just sits on 88 percent and do's nothing.

If anyone has any idea's it would be greatly appreciated

Hi bbudgies
See if you have a Nero log for this - just need the last one. The logs are usually separated by something like this:
====== *** NeroAPI, History File *** ======

You can find them here:
program files>ahead>nero>nerohistory.

Just be sure to edit out the serial # - they begin w/ 1A, 1C or 5C.

If not then here's a few question:
°What media are you using - like Sony +R 8x

°Make, model & firmware version of burner? (you can find this in NeroToolKit>InfoTool>Drive tab. Firmware version will be listed there & the make and model is listed in the dropdown)

°All drives in DMA mode (current transfer mode should list DMA also). Here's a guide:

Thanks for your help

The make is Sony
The Model is DVD DW-Q30A
The firmware version is YYS2
I am using TDK-DVD R 1-16 speed 4.7 Gb

there is a firmware update for ur burner, this MIGHT help with those TDK disks, heres a link.

Be aware these are not good quality disks, and this could be the why u are having this problem, especially if the MID code is CMC Mag

Better media is
Verbatims(Only media made in Taiwan that is good)
Any other media made in Japan
Taiyo Yuden(Online,Made in Japan)
