Hi guys,
Hopefully someone can help me out here.
This situation has happened to me before and I ended up re-installing windows. I'm trying to find a better solution this time.
Anyhoo, DvdShrink, Dvddecrypter and my Mplayer all quit working at the same time. I have un-installed and re-installed all programs several times and they will work for about 10 minutes and then gone again. Just to be safe I deleted a couple of programs that I recently obtained. I then re-installed the troubled programs again, and I get the same thing. I am running xp and everything else is fine.....good speed, no stalling, no crashes. All good except those 3 programs.
I don't get any errors or anything. They just won't open. I've tried opening them through the program file folders and anyway possible, but nothing. I opened up my task manager to see if anything was running while I tried to open them and everything looks good there. I've ran a virus scan and that was okay also.
Anyone with some suggestions or advice for me?

U could try running a registry fixer program.

Do these programs never open even when u restart the PC?

Thanks for the reply 300bowler. I ran ccleaner, is there a difference between that and a registry fixer? If so do you have a recommendation for a free fixer?
These programs will stop working with or without a restart. I've tried installing them alone to ensure they aren't conflicting with each other also.
I ran my scandisc and it didn't help either.
I'm at a loss here.
