I have a modchip in my ps2 fat boy ...I cant play some games that I download...How do you work the modship is my real question cause I bought it from canada from a dealer...and he didnt tell me anything..

Well that would all depend on what type of chip it has, they are all different.

If you did not find out what you were buying, and can not reach them to find out now you are pretty much out of luck unless you just go look up all of the major mod chips boot modes, and by trial and error find one boot mode that works.

such as a DMS4 Pro chip you can hold square while you start the PS2 and it will enter the Toxic OS and settings menu.
or a matrix infinity where you can hold start and the words disabled will come on the screen.
try some of these and see if you can figure it out.

Ok thanks...Yea my uncle bought it for me at cristmas time 2 years ago I think.. But When I play some games that are backup games it will play bt just restarting it....But ill try to find out...
