burning a GM navagation DVD

I recently got a new vehicle at work it has the GM navagation system.
It came with a 2005 DVD Maps. I have a 2003 disk for my truck.
I tried to burn a copy to use in my truck for an updated map. Used Nero burn and it said it burned OK everything on the copy looks like the original but when I put it in the Navagation system it said cannot read disk, bad disk etc. Is it something Im doing or do I need a different burning program All help appreciated
