This is going to be fun seeing who can crack this DVD and make it non-destructible.

Surely this is a ridiculous idea. Just buy the disk and rip it to your PC straight away. The disk can deteriorate all it wants in the next 48hrs, but the copy on your PC will still be there and OK to burn as many copies as you want.

I don't see why movie companies would think that this will reduce the amount of piracy out there!
