I am just getting in the stage of burning games. Havent seemed to be able to figure it out. Pretty smart with computers just not understanding how this program works can so one please point me in the path to get started. Thanks

1st step would be i click the program to run and it says no xbox 360 drive found lets start there.

Naw... lets start here. What drive are you using to read the original? Explain your setup and we'll see if we can get you going.

i have followed a couple of peoples ideas through decrypter before and all i got when i made my backup was when i would insert the disk into my 360 a message "please insert this 360 disk into 360 counsole"

That's why you're getting the no drive detected error. Schtrom is an all-in-one program which will create a ready-to-burn backup of your original. But it only works with 360 drives and the Samsung sh-d162c and sh-d163a pc drives. Won't work with your Pioneer.

What else would i need besides getting that samsung dvd rom drive for my computer

Well, if you're in the US about the only place you'll find one is on Ebay. Once you do get the drive it needs to be flashed with Kreon v.81 firmware. Once flashed it'll still work as a regular pc drive plus be able to rip 360 originals. This drive is only a rom, though. So you'll still need a burner.

Once you have the drive all you'll need is Schtrom and CCD.

for the burner you need i see alot of people saying u need a dual burner is this correct or will a dvd burner work just fine?

you need a dual layer burner because 99% of the games are between 6GB and 8GB so you need to burn them on a Verbatim DVD+R DL
Also depending on which drive you 360 have, there may be different burning proceedures. Like i have been told that any non-Samsung 360 DVD DRive you will have to have a dual layer burner that can booktype the DVD+R DL to DVD-Rom (like the BenQDW1655 for example which i have, works great and can booktype)
I have the sammy drive but booktype them anyway.
Then there is stealth patching, which is a whole nother post. This i think is needed to fool the 360 into thinking it is an original. If ripping the dick from an original then the latest version of Xbox Backup Creator is what you want. one you get the Samsung PC drive and dual layer burner (and discs) then XBC makes it a simple 2 click operation. Once it copies to hard drive you can burn it with IMGburn 2.0 (NOT THE NEW 2.2!!!) but have to set the layer break manually which is very very simple.
