Is there a ps2 emulator that would play burnt games?

i have a ps2 but would like to play burnt games on my laptop through a ps2 emulator. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Unless your laptop is very powerful, contains the latest dual core chip with 1-2gb of RAM and a formidable graphics card, most games will run poorly or unplayably bad (particularly on the more taxing 3D games). There are issues with sound, and relatively common rendering problems. I explored this option before buying a fat PS2 and pursuing the internal HD route, even that isn't hassle free but it's the best option available.

My guess is that it may take at least another year or two before quad cores are more common, and PCsx2 supports quad cores (as it does dual cores), then you can expect pretty much every game to run without system bottlenecks as long as there are no other emulation problems (which there probably will be depending on the title played).
