Hello, I am new here but am in dire need of serious help.
I am on Windows XP pro SP2

I recently had some problem with my system and did a complete rebuild from the ground up. I run 1 primary hard drive 2 slave drives and 4 USB drives.
After the re-install (I do not know what went wrong or what happened) I did a rebbot and the system went into chkdsk/scan disk mode from DOS boot (start up) and I noticed it started deleted a lot of corrupt files and or other. I allowed it to do this and after about 2 hours the system came up and all was well.
UNTIL...
I went to one of my slave drives where I keep all of my original files and programs to install onto my computer.
I noticed several of my folders were missing...after a search through all of the files on the HDD I noticed the folders I was looking for but they are no longer folders.
They are files (unknown type with no extension) all of them size 32kb.

One folder in particular should be 12GB in size with 32 ISO images of game cd's I own.
I need to know if anyone has had this issue or if anyone can help me to open my folders (now files)
