i just wanted to know if there was any way to burn ps2 games, what kind of discs would i need, do i need a special burner, and where do i get the games on the internet.

you need to do a search, probably why no one answered you.
there are tons of posts here on how to burn games, try the PS2 backup section and look at the bold threads at the top.

as far as DVD's
I would go with an 8X DVD-R from a good maker like
Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Philips (do a search for DVD Media Guide)

where to get them, i can not link you to any as it is against the rules. Search the word "torrent" and see what you find.

also look for programs called DVD Decrypter and WinRAR as you will need those too.
