ive been looking into the whole newsgroup thing, all looks good but im just wondering how safe it is?

people say you cant get found out etc anybody know

Safe as in annonymous? Yeah, you dont post if you don't want to so who knows what you get besides your ISP.
Safe as in viruses? The 360 group has been virus free but you can still run the .rar files through an anti-virus if you must.
